Japan, an era of war, betrayal, and shifting alliances. Power is fragile, and the fate of entire clans is decided not only on the battlefield but in the shadows, where silent assassins shape history before swords even clash. You are stepping into a world where honor is questioned, loyalty is bought, and death is always one step behind you. Will you embrace the path of a silent assassin, striking from the darkness, or will you wield your blade as an honorable samurai, facing your enemies head-on? The choice is yours. Explore ancient castles, bustling towns, and hidden temples, using rooftops, tunnels, and secret passageways to outmaneuver your enemies. Every action has consequences—your legend will be written by the choices you make. With Assassin’s Creed Shadows (Assassins of Shadows) offline activation, you can immerse yourself in this brutal yet mesmerizing world without any internet restrictions. Play at your own pace, forge your destiny, and decide what kind of warrior you will become.

You are more than just a fighter—you are a ghost, a shadow moving through the night, unseen and unstoppable. Every step is a calculated move, every strike is precise. Your enemies are many, but none can match your cunning. In a land where death is a constant presence, only those who adapt will survive. This is a story without a predetermined ending. Will you leave behind a legacy of honor, feared by all? Or will you become a whisper in the dark, remembered only by those who dared to stand against you? Every decision changes the course of history, and every enemy defeated leaves a mark on your soul. The secrets of a divided land await those who dare to uncover them. Are you ready to carve your own path?

Terrible voice acting, a story so dull it could put insomniacs to sleep, and facial animations that belong in a horror game. 😬

The combat? Serviceable. The parrying? A disaster. And somehow, despite having a high-end PC, I’m still dealing with low FPS. Make it make sense. 🤷‍♂️

But the real MVP here? The loading screens. 🏆 Every little thing triggers one. Talk to an NPC? Loading screen. Enter a building? Loading screen. Step out of your hideout? You already know. It’s like the game was designed to test your patience.

Cutscenes drag on forever, filled with characters talking in circles, occasionally interrupted by some combat. And the soundtrack? Who thought blasting rock music in a historical setting was a good idea? My immersion packed its bags and left. 🎸💨

Unless you’re absolutely starving for a new AC game, I’d say wait for a sale—this ain’t worth full price.

Or better yet, just play Ghost of Tsushima. Trust me, you’ll have a way better time.

Edit: Ubisoft really outdid themselves—there’s in-game lootable currency for microtransactions. Found some just lying around, waiting for me to spend it in their store. Truly groundbreaking. 🙃 Oh, and if historical accuracy matters to you… yeah, don’t get your hopes up.

If you turn off enemy markers, crank stealth difficulty to the max, and enable "guaranteed stealth kills," you almost get a decent Assassin’s Creed experience. Almost. 🤷‍♂️ Too bad the combat is absolute garbage—genuinely some of the worst I’ve ever seen. And splitting weapons and armor between two characters? Brilliant idea… if one of them wasn’t useless for stealth.

If you don’t mind subtitles, do yourself a favor and switch to Japanese voice acting—it’s leagues better than the English dub.

    Now for the tech issues:

◼️ Ubisoft Connect gave me a headache just trying to launch the game.

◼️ My PS5 controller? Took a fight just to get it working.

◼️ The graphics? Not even that impressive, yet I had to drop my settings way down just to hit 60 FPS. Meanwhile, Cyberpunk looks stunning and runs fine. Make it make sense. 😐

Oh, and the music? Some of it is straight-up awful and doesn’t fit the game at all.

    Then there’s the cash-grab nonsense:

◼️ An in-game store and battle pass? No thanks. 🚮

◼️ Story content paywalled on day one? Disgusting.

◼️ Also, Yasuke feels completely out of place. He could have been a cool character in another game, but here? Just awkward. Should’ve made Naoe the sole protagonist.

Final verdict: meh. A solid 5/10—not terrible, but definitely not good. Just go play Ghost of Tsushima instead.
